Like any large open source project, ROS and Gazebo depend on voluntary contributions of time and effort, and funding from users, developers, and other community members from around the world. To ensure the continued success of ROS, we need your help!

OSRF currently spends approximately $2,000 per month to host the online ROS services on which we all rely, including: the wikiROS Answers, the package repository that allows you to apt-get install ROS software, and the build farm that builds those packages. And that’s not counting the cost of the time of OSRF staff to maintain that infrastructure, much less do new development on core ROS packages.
